Completing a fitness centre or yoga centre activity for a minimum of 30 minutes at our panel of fitness or yoga centres.
Recording of steps as per grid in a day (tracked through our mobile application or a wearable device linked to the Policy Number).
Burning 300 calories in one exercise session per day.
Participation in a recognised marathon/walkathon or a similar activity that offers a completion certificate with timing.
If you cancel during the free look period (15 days for offline, 30 days for online), you will get your premium back minus the expense to the insurer.
Deductions may include expenses during coverage, stamp duty, and the number of insured days.
If cancelled after the free-look period, refunds are 75% within 1 month, 50% within 3 months, and 25% within 6 months, for the 1-year policy.
If cancelled after the free-look period, refunds are 85% within 1 month, 75% within 3 months, 60% within 6 months, 50% within 12 months, 30% within 15 months, and 20% within 18 months, for the 2-year policy.
All Insured Persons in this Plan may avail of a Health Assessment™ once in a Policy Year post successful Renewal of their Policy, for the following tests:
1. MER (Medical Examiner's Report stamped and signed) including BP (Blood Pressure), BMI (Body Mass Index), HWR (Hip Waist Ratio), and smoking status.
2. Blood sugar.
3. Total Cholesterol.
All Insured Persons may avail of a comprehensive health check-up once in a Policy Year on successful Renewal of the Policy, as specified in the Policy
Schedule / Product Benefit Table in accordance with the following list:
1. Complete Blood Count
2. C- reactive protein
3. Glycated haemoglobin test
4. Lipid profile
5. Liver profile
6. Kidney profile
7. Urine routine
8. Prostate-specific antigen for male
9. Electrocardiogram
10. S Electrolytes
The Insured Person’s test results will be used to calculate the Healthy Heart Score™ based on their completed Health Assessment™. The Healthy Heart Score™ will then be used to identify which category the Insured Person’s heart health falls in:
• Green: Low risk of heart disease compared to peers in the same age and gender group.
• Amber: Moderate risk of heart disease compared to peers in the same age and gender group – intervention will be beneficial.
• Red: High risk of heart disease compared to peers in the same age and gender group – immediate intervention is required.
The Healthy Heart Score™ is valid for 12 months, and will automatically be updated based on the latest available test result if another Health Assessment™ is completed.
For Healthy Heart Score™ to be calculated, Health Assessment™ needs to be carried out a minimum of once in a Policy Year.
All Insured Persons in the Policy may avail of an advance health check-up once in a Policy Year for the following list of tests:
1. Mammography
2. PAP smear
3. Thyroid function test
4. Treadmill Test (Two-Dimensional Echocardiography if the customer is not able to walk on the treadmill)
5. Chest X-ray
6. Sonography Abdomen
7. ENT check-up
8. OPG (Dental X-ray)
9. Vitamin D
10. Vitamin B12
11. Calcium
There are no documents required as such for purchasing a health insurance plan in India. You may only have to undergo a pre-policy medical check-up if you are a senior citizen. However, you must have a valid proof of your identity, address, age, etc. when you need to file a claim with your insurer.
