I look at ABC as a place of abundant opportunities. But above and beyond that is the amount of care and goodwill I have received through a very challenging phase in my life. Not only have I greatly benefited from the organization’s Health & Wellness Policies, I have also experienced the way people live and breathe the culture that cascades down to every individual. My manager himself is an example of this, remaining supportive through my illness and going out of his way with such warmth and concern. This means a lot to me, and even more to my family.

It's been around thirteen years since I joined ABC, and I can say from experience that our wellbeing policies are truly inclusive. Apart from the fact that one can add anyone from parents to siblings under the insurance cover, another thing that stands out is how the medical insurance policy also covers the elderly and those with an existing illness, something that doesn’t apply in most policies. In fact, my father has also benefited from this in the past, and it’s reassuring that I can avail this kind of support in times of need.

I believe that at ABC, we’re continually revisiting and enhancing the employee experience – be it the evolution in employee benefits from when I joined, or the policymaking during the pre-COVID and post-COVID contexts. ABC adopts a genuinely human approach and always does right by its people. I have a very emotional connection to the company because of everything that I have been through in my time here, and how the organisation has had my back in the midst of it all. It’s these moments, these interactions, these experiences, these gestures that make me truly happy to get up in the morning and come to work.

If I were to sum up my experience at ABC, I would quite simply say that I have been here for over 12 years for a reason. Yes, I may have come up the ladder because of my skills and my instinct, but I would also credit the organisation, my leaders and my colleagues for continually giving me the opportunity and support to grow and thrive even in the direst phases of life.
