The extraction, processing, and combustion of fossil fuels have inflicted significant environmental damage,
including pollution, habitat destruction, and threats to biodiversity. This highlighted the pressing need
for cleaner energy sources.
To address these challenges, we identified renewable energy sources as a sustainable solution for forging a
cleaner and greener future. Through ABCL's infrastructure finance vertical, we provide crucial support to
renewable energy companies, enabling their operations and delivering social impact, while actively
contributing to the fight against climate change.

capacity in FY 2021-22
Aligned with the Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs), we are actively working towards achieving the target of 175 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2022. We have provided significant financial support for 3.9 GW in solar and wind energy projects. Securing ₹1,000 Crore in funding from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) further accelerated our transition to renewable energy.
