**Job Summary: ** The Tele Sales Life Insurance Agent is responsible for generating new business by contacting potential customers, presenting life insurance products, and closing sales over the phone. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality, and a strong desire to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Lead Generation and Prospecting:** - Identify and qualify potential customers from various sources such as leads, referrals, and cold calls. - Maintain and update customer databases with accurate and current information.
2. **Sales Calls:** - Conduct outbound sales calls to potential customers, presenting life insurance products and services. - Explain policy features, benefits, and premiums in a clear and compelling manner. - Address customer queries and concerns effectively to build trust and rapport.
3. **Product Knowledge:** - Stay informed about different life insurance products and services offered by the company. - Understand and communicate the unique selling points of each product to potential customers.
4. **Sales Process Management:** - Follow a structured sales process to achieve sales targets and goals. - Use sales techniques and strategies to persuade customers to purchase life insurance policies. - Complete the application process accurately and efficiently.
5. **Customer Service:** - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with policy information, updates, and claims processes. - Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
6. **Compliance:** - Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to the sale of life insurance products. - Maintain confidentiality of customer information and handle all interactions with integrity.
7. **Reporting:** - Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including call logs, sales performance, and customer feedback. - Participate in sales meetings and training sessions as required.
**Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in tele sales, customer service, or insurance sales is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. - Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated in a high-pressure sales environment. - Must be licensed to sell life insurance in the relevant state (or willing to obtain licensure). **Working Conditions:**
