Data Privacy Manager

Data privacy compliance being of paramount importance, having a dedicated legal resource, is essential to safeguard ABC's interests and reputation. The process towards set up/ implementation of the Data Privacy Framework for ABC has already been initiated, and the legal specialist will be able to support this effectively. 

The role of the Data Privacy Lawyer would encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (both DPDPA and sectoral regulations) across LOB’s.
• Supporting in review and finalization of data protection policies and procedures. 
• Providing guidance on data processing activities and provide guidance in ensuring data security across LOB’s.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data privacy strategies.
• Working on the consent framework.
• Provide legal support in handling data breach incidents and reporting requirements etc.
• Support across all stages of implementation including Review, Preparation, Storage and Transfer and Legal Readiness. 
• Managing Legal Risks involved in Outsourcing and Downstream obligations (reworking DPA’s etc.)
