ABSLI Hospital Care Rider

In the event that you are hospitalised for treatment, you will receive Daily Cash Benefit to take care of your expenses. In case you are treated in an Intensive Care Unit you will receive an Enhanced Daily Cash Benefit. To help you cover your recuperation expenses, you will be paid a lump sum amount, in case you are hospitalised for more than seven days for the same disease.

You can claim your daily cash benefit in case of hospitalisation for medically necessary treatment of any Illness or Injury for a minimum period of 24 hours payable from the first day for the duration of hospitalisation.

Premium Paying Term
Same as base plan (Minimum: 5 years & Maximum: 52 years)
Rider Sum Assured
Minimum Rs.1,50,000 | Maximum Rs.15,00,000 subject to maximum of 100% sum assured of the base plan
Rider Term
Same as that of the base plan or till the attained age 70 of the life insured, whichever is earlier (Minimum: 5 years & Maximum: 52 years)
